~Pre-trip Preps~

Thank you Diama of Chocolate Cherried Creations

Today is going to be such a busy day I doubt I will be able to watch the game.   At six a.m. I have ot wake up and go with Sandy to pick up the van in Clearwater that she is renting to bring her mother here from Kentucky.   Then I will clean DoBs place while he is at church and hopefully do his wash.  The dog is itchy, so I need to get to Walmart for Benendryl.  And I will have to take food, and all the doggie essentials to Neighbor Nancy's.  Then pack my bag.   I did my laundry today.  Shorts and tiney tee's are easy.  Today with each pair of long sleeved shirts or jeans I audibly letout an .....Arrr!!  I hate all that clothing.  Being a bit clausterphobic rules out turtlenecks.  If I have to, I'll wear a sweater over a long sleeved shirt.

But, that horrible feeling always sets in.

Today I also set up DoBs meals for the next 10 days (extras, just in case).  I made 10 "TV dinners"  Fish & Vegies, Chicken & Vegies with rice, or Vegies with Black Beans & Rice. Four Chef salads, 6 Turkey and cheese sandwiches in the freezer.  And enough Buffalo wings, cheese, chips, wine chocolate & O'Douls to last him a good week and a half.

Part of my packing tomorrow will include my stethoscope & blood pressure machine.  Just in case.  I didn't want mention that part to Sandy.  But, today she actually said if her mother dies en route, we will turn around and take her back to Kentucky.  Dreadful thought isn't it?

I am sure everything will be fine.

Gads, I feel the same way about turtlenecks and such - the claustraphobia sets in BIG time...can't STAND anything around my throat like that!!  I always wear V neck sweaters or somesuch when I need them.  I hope your trip goes safely and happily and of course positively!  Enjoy it :)  Hugz, Teresa
