Marc came over for a short while today. Usually he stays for dinner, movie, we go to the beach or the pool, then we watched Breaking Bad. It was foggy here on the coast most of the day and even though we really wanted to go to Honeymoon Island the fog was just too dense. So he took me to the grocery store for my supplies for the week. When I came out he was asleep in the Jeep. Poor guy is trying to stop smoking and has been on Wellbutrin for a week. The drug is making him so tired he decided to go home and take a nap. This is not my son. My son never passes up a free meal, especially if it's his Mama's cooking.
I entered the above photo in Deb & Steph's Photo Challenge & won. The theme ... Food. After all the photos I took of food the past 2 weeks, and thought for sure this was going to become a food journal. I looked in my photos, I had sandwiches from Greece and Mexico, Strawberry pizza, crepes, &shortcake, strawberries, lots of strawberries. As you see I went with the pineapple from Maui , whose top I planted in my garden. It's a huge plant now. They usually take a couple yrs to produce fruit, but we'll see what happens. Was the pineapple good? It was luscious!
Is it me or do men get spring fever?After I went to the eye doc's Thursday, I found the ATM in the hospital. I was trying to get my bearings as to which exit would be best to catch a bus home. I went out one door where I could see the parking lot and was directly behind the Otis elevator man. I squinted as I saw someblue pillars rising in the distance and I asked the man if he could see the bus stop. We chatted a bit and he spotted the shelters where I needed to go. As I said thank you and turned away he asked me to go to lunch sometime. I guess I just looked at him for a long second and he then asked if I was married. I answered with the truth ~ No. Then I asked him. Yes. Sorry, I told him, "I don't do married". He fumbled for words and said, "Oh we can go...just as friends" and added something about his marriage wasn't all good. I just kept walking. Asked out twice in one week~ I would have felt special if the guys were available.
Breaking Bad just came on. AMC is showing the series over again.
I'm off like a land locked turtle.

I'm surprised about Marc falling asleep from the Wellbutrin....it had me so hepped up, so jittery and jumping out of my skin, I had to cut it in half and only take it in the morning or I couldn't sleep at night!!! Weird, isn't it? Oh, and it DOES affect your appetite, even MINE, and nothing usually keeps ME from eating. LOL
