Hiya Kids!
Sorry I have been virtually absent since my last entry last Thursday or Friday. I'm still having problems walking with these twisted swollen ankles. But, I am able to walk so I'm sure they are only strained, no sprain or break. It's just going to take some time. The problem arises from the numbness and burning from knees down. I told my Rheumatolgist that I really felt we needed to find a cause for the pain & swelling that has only been getting worse over the past 8 months. So he gave me a referral to a Neuro guy & a Gastrointerologist because he also thinks I have an ulcer. Geeezzz....
I see the Tummy doc Thursday and the Nuero guy on the 18th.
Jasmine, my 10 yr old Maltese has been sick since Thursday also. She groans & kicks her legs like a colicky baby. She's been sick to her stomach and not eating. She & I were awake all night Saturday with her vomiting. I tried to get a TUMS in on Saturday morning 3 am. But, she wouldn't have it. Poor girl wa hot to touch and I actually thought shw stopped breathing. I put my hand on her ~ WHEW....still warm. When she awake the vomiting started over again. She's been sick today also.
I made some potato pancakes this afternoon and she ate some mashed potatoes.
Marc stopped by Sunday. He was in the parking lot at a one of those pool/sports bars when he was hit by a slow moving truck. His ribs are bruised and legs are scabbed over.
He said he was okay and the girl that hit him felt like she had to TAKE care of him. LUCKY he didn't get hurt seriously, and LUCKY...well, you know "got LUCKY!
The accident was a blessing in disguise because Saturday night there was a shooter at that bar he was suppose to go into and 8 people were shot.
Sandy's daughter and grandson were here the middle of last week from the Chicago area. They were here for a day to go to the beach. Then up to Orlando with tickets for the WWF event Sunday night. The same event where 40 people were injured when a cable broke and fireworks spued into the crowd. We haven't heard from her daughter yet.
But, no news is good news right?
The Secretary's job has been passed on to one of my 300 neighbors
What a relief~I freeeee!
If I am going to volunteer I decided to do something fun. I've volunteered to Bet he Chairmen of the next New Years Paarty. Theme~Pirates of the Carribean. ARG, ARGG, ARGGG
Tonight, I will watch Dancing with the Stars. Oh, it's painful to watch the Newbies and the ones with plastic mask like faces. Speaking of such ~ Has anyone seen Sarah Jessica Parker the past week promoting her new movie. I don't know the name as I was looking at her face. BOTOX!
Okay 'nuf Drama.....
Hugs to all, Bethe

I saw Sara Jessica Parker, and yes, her face was loaded up with Botox. She was promoting the movie of Sex and the City. I think she looked aweful. Hope your ankles and legs start to feel better.

OOohhh so Marc got hurt and then helped...nice!! Let's hope she's a keeper.
I think SJP is a plain looking (ugly) lady. Botox is right!
Wow I can't believe that about Marc getting injured and if he hadn't he would've been in the bar!! I'm so glad he's okay x Hope you get on okay at the docs x

Poor Marc, hope the ribs heal soon! Jasmine...poor girl, is she doing better now? I used Pepto-Bismol caplets ~ easier to deal with than Tums. I surely hope she is better by now. I hope you don't have an ulcer ~ you must reduce your stress!
Be sure to let us know how everyone is!
xx
