Thank you Donna : )
Marc stopped by today to drive me to Countryside Mall to meet Carol for lunch. I would have had to take 2 buses to get there. Wasn't that sweet?
I arrived about 45 minutes early so I went to a cellular phone booth to see if I could replace my plug-in recharging cord. Mine was damaged by getting caught in the metal mechanism of my recliner. Darn thing was twisted & almost severed in half. I explained to the man behind the glass counter how I had no idea that it had gotten so mangled until this morning when I only had 1 bar left. He told me how his dog likes to lay under his recliner , "mine, too" , I said. He told me, "we have a Rat Terrier" and we exchanged a few doggie tales. He gave me his business card Okaaayy....his card. Does this mean he wants me to call?
Business?
Pleasure?
We talked a bit more. Next thing I know he is telling me he thinks we should go out, we'd probably have a lot of fun together. By now I was sure I was late meeting Carol .
I looked at him, said I got the impression he was with someone. He said he had "Associates' ~ Hmmm : /
I smiled, said I was late, and hurried upstairs thinking that could really be a bad idea.

Carol, you all may know her as 'Lazarai' lives south of Clearwater. Me, north of Clearwater.
Countryside Mall is west of Clearwater at a nice central location.
We met at the ice rink in the center of the mall, hugged. She admired my straight blonde hair. I like her thick brown hair.
We walked around the ice rink over to Dillard's and looked at swimsuits. And we both agreed the only time that the suits are reasonable at Dillard's is when there have a sale.
Coming out of Dillard's, Carol noticed a group of men sleeping in the leather chairs . I whipped out my camera as Carol commented these guys looked like they should be Nursing Home patients.
In this photo the man that was in the empty chair on the left had to be helped to his feet by his wife. He could hardly walked even though he held onto his wife's arm. Look at the frail man on the left. He was in the strangest position, I actually thought he was trying to crap.
Oh, did I day that??
Or maybe his arse hurts...
Opps, did it agian!
Poor dear... I mean. ::grin::

We went to lunch at 'Too Jay's, a large Deli/Restaurant.
~ Carol had the Chicken Quesadilla ~
~ Me, a Pita with Hummus and Tabouli ~
Both dishes truly Excellent. On the way out Carol pointed ou themost scrumptious looking desserts. But, we were good girls...no dessert this time.
Hi Robin!!
We want you to join us next time!
From there we went to a few of stores, Merle Norman and Yankee Candle. Then Carol's daughter called and after we said out good byes she was off to pick her daughter up from a friends house.
We had chattered away for 3 hours, hugged good-bye and we both agreed that meeting IRL was as comfortable as meeting an old freind. YaY, JLand Friends!
I went down to Piercing Pagoda fully intending on getting my one ear re-pierced and replacing a couple of earrings, only to have the girl tell me that her Debit card machine didn't work. Geezzz...lost a sale there. I just don't carry a check book anymore. I caught the bus home on this beautiful day.

I am giggling like a school girl!!! You two are soooooooo beautiful!!! I love the sign!!!! I must post it in my journal too...if it is okay with you two.
What a fun day, I love Dillards and when they have a sale they usually have good sales! I bought about three new suits last year while still in CA and I am pretty sure it was winter cause it was like an end of season sale and they were dirt cheap!
Your lunches look yummy and again you two are just the cutest things, I tried to picture chubby me sitting in between you two next time...would be fun and I would love it!!!! Although since we both have blonde straight hair we would have to put Carol in the middle. :)
Fun, fun, fun! Thanks for the pic it truly made my day!
Robin
