This is photo I took while on a hike near Dunedin, the next town down from Palm Harbor. It would have been a beautiful photo, if not for the litter.

It really is a beautiful cardinal. I know what you mean about it pecking for food among the cigarrette butts, though. Hey, the new calendar thingy in your sidebar looks great! I can tell the pictures that are flashing through are your own, because I've seen a few of them in your posts. Nice little addition!

Yes...sad. I have a really funny story about Dunedin. Involves theft and my ex-mother-in-law. ;) C.
You're so lucky to even get a photo of one.We have lots here but they flit about so quick I only get blurry shots.

How pretty he is, poor dear...standing in litter. People have no regard for our beautiful planet, yes...it is sad.

Yes it is sad, I will never understand it. It seems that most smokers dont consider throwing a cigarette but out a car window littering...hello.
Every week my hubby rakes up a bucket full off our front lawn.
